The Lindeman’s Non-Alcoholic Cabernet Sauvignon is an impressive non-alcoholic wine scoring a 7.45/10 as it is built around a smooth, warm and long body of flavour that is crafted from flavours of dark berries, prune, oak and sweet hints of spice that ride the finishing tannins and linger well between mouthfuls.

What Does Lindeman’s Alcohol Free Cabernet Sauvignon Taste Like

The Lindeman’s Cabernet Sauvignon is a gem in the world of non-alcoholic red wine and it seems to consistently fly under the radar! So if you are looking for a non-alcoholic red wine that brings full flavour and a level of depth and complexity it’s time for you to read on!

Each glass of Lindeman’s Cabernet Sauvignon is going to bring a smooth and rich profile to your palette that is built around:

  • classic cabernet sauvignon notes of dark fruits, plum and prune;
  • an underlying softness, rounded oak and spices with a hint of sweetness;
  • an uncharacteristically quenching back of pallet; that gives way to
  • a finish that brings tannins that balance a warm spiced oak and hint of chocolate.

Overall, this is a great development in the world of non-alcoholic red wine and I see the Lindeman’s option being able to pull in traditional red wine drinkers notwithstanding the fact it does not carry the heat, polish and sheen that comes with traditional alcoholic wine.

Who is Lindeman’s alcohol-free for?

When visiting Sip & Enjoy recently I was talking to owner Van and we were talking about how the Lindeman’s non-alcoholic cab sauv is a red wine that is designed to bring drinkers of traditional red wine into the space of non-alcoholic red wine.

Based upon this, I would say that the Lindeman’s is for literally anybody who is searching for a 0.5% red wine that does not taste like it’s been boiled and topped up with grape juice.

The Round-Up: Final Thoughts

Whilst we’re all aware that non-alcoholic wine does not carry the heat and sheen of their older alcoholic siblings the flavour in the Lindeman’s is doing brilliantly at working its way towards giving you the experience of a traditional Cabernet Sauvignon.

My final thoughts are that it will be a red I’d definitely recommend alongside the Funky Monkey and Wolf Blass at the other end of the spectrum for people to try and see where their tastebuds land.

If you’re interested, in getting a bottle or two to try (and you should be) the links down below are where to find it! Happy drinking!
